Default Vinyl Wrap Hood Scoop

hey everyone

just out of curiosity, anyone wrap their hood scoop? any particular wrap recommended?

im looking to do it on my black on black 08 WRX. its currently unpainted so it looks a little off on the hood. not looking for black, red or carbon fiber wraps. hoping i can get a deep purple or something like that.

Paint it instead. Just make sure you prep it so the paint won't flake off eaisly.

I plasti dipped my calipers and it held up fine. I would think a hood scoop would be fine with engine temps.

Curious to see what the hood scoop will look like wrapped in vinyl or plasti dipped.

I had mine wrapped to match the body color. It's not 100% match but it's close. And much better than the UV damaged stocker:

Definitely recommend having a professional do that particular piece, as the small curves are pretty tough to do...

the only reason i dont want to paint it is so i can change its color. i might get tired of one color in a month and wrap/plastidip it a different color.

Then plasti dip. You can change the color every month if you want to.....

i like the color. i hated doing it. im plasti dipping next time or having a professional use the rest of the wrap i have.

tip: you dont need 5ftx5ft wrap for just a hood scoop.
