okay gang. time for some updates and winter time work!

the center console... I won one in the Japan auctions months ago and it has not arrived You can clearly see why I need one... the noise in cabin is insane.

Back track to the seat belts.
I ditched the OE belts. just could not save them. they were so tattered.
I still have them and will keep them in my collection but there is what I went with... period correct replica belts.

Her rear quarter panel display has been touched up. Just made it POP ( uh! i hate that word but cannot think of another...) by adding a touch of white....

thoughts?

The OE Enkei center caps. They are so... um. big!
I'm used to them now so they will stay.

I was thinking of adding Enkei carbon fiber overlays to them.

Your thoughts?

see below...

or... does carbon fiber not belong on this car in any way?
I am torn.

Like the white FF1

No carbon, period. If you carbon anything on that car I will disown you.

Fender mirrors perhaps maybe?

As for the hole in the floor, can you put a shifter boot over it?

I was gonna say fender mirrors.

Is that hole in the floor wide open, will water and dirt come through? I've seen some guys use old school type rubber accordion shift boots to seal things like that up.

Maybe a little more flair will help in the mirror department. Something like these, maybe: http://www.kgworks.co.jp/4-c-47.htm

Fender mirrors are annoying but look so cool.

The cost to install mirrors onto the hood is nuts.

That's the HOOD they're installed into. Not the fender.

And then you have to take in the fact that I'd have to pay someone to body fill, and then repaint BOTH doors.

Not worth the super cool JDM mirrors... although I do have a set

Was thinking of installing them on my 77 2 door

I will take another photo from the back seat...
There is a massive gap.
And it extends all the way to the shifter selector

My wheels currently.

Pretty much 100% - my center caps before paint/restoration
faded logo. scratched. dented.

gives an understanding as to why I remove the metal "logo" sticker.

Chano, thats not the actual wheels prior to restoration.

These are:

They weren't in "horrible" shape, but the center caps were.

I love the simplistic construction of this car, even the bodywork with pressed steel vents.

Also, that 360 makes the Impreza look huge!
