GD K&N reusable cabin filter
So I installed the K&N Cabin filter vf2000. Fitment is good but difficult to install. Requires a bit of shoving to install and remove due to the angle required. As the dash metal reinforcement is a bit in the way. But I got it in without a lot of problems. The door to the filter has a lip inside. You may need to lift the filter slightly to get the door on. But it fits good. I can't tell if it provides much difference in air flow, as my car still needs a new engine but it seems to work effectively. Enjoy if you choose to follow doing what I did. I suggest adding the zipties like I did for added ease of removing the filter later on. As the fit is pretty snug.

Not that I have noticed. I also have one in my toyota tacoma for the last 4 months or so. I've been quite happy with it. In my truck it seems to allow better air flow. But on the WRX I can't really tell. I don't have the world most sensitive noise but I'm happy with it.
