Default HP Gains Exaggerated?

It seems to me the gains here are a little on the high side.
My brother has a stock '99 Impreza and was able to get an additional +30 HP on the dyno using a "viper chip": www.viperperformance.net
I have not tried it, but was asking what your thoughts were as compared to other upgrades? It somehow improves performance using the OBD Port. My brother swears by it...

lol, if anything because of that dyno....its on the low side....Prime Motoring's dyno reads low as ****.... my baseline was 220 on that exact dyno.

Do you have a pump gas map? I've been looking into those 1700cc injectors but I keep hearing mixed reviews about them running pump gas, also I don't see fuel rails or aftermarket fuel pressure regulator in your mod list, is the Cobb fuel pressure regulator kit the same as the stumble fix kit?

No, on pump gas, the 1700's are a little bit of a problem when you start your car but after that its no issue. When when i say no issue as to the stumble after the first 30 secs the car has been on. You will still get the random roughness count anywhere from 1-20. I have been lucky to never have anything higher than a 8. But the key to that is high rpms...but if you stay over 3k rpms you have no problem....And as far as the map goes, i have a flex fuel tune so no i don't have just a base map for 93. I just pump w/e and go. The tune will readjust it self for w/e i'm running may it be E30 or full E85 or hell even just straight 93.

Not everyone wants to fork out $8000+ blowing up a motor for bragging rights on a forum. If you want to push ****, build the motor appropriately. If you have the money to burn, hey go for it, but then you should have built it right in the first place.
