Please take a breath and use your words. Put down the phone and get on a real computer. Use sentences and explain what you're talking about. Out of your garbled mess, I'd ask are all 4 tires the exact same size.....like all the numbers, such as 205-55-16?

hmmmm
so a half flat tire solves the road noise issue? sounds like a solution to me. Similar issue with my windshield. Always gets dirty as hell. I'm removing that lousy thing this weekend. |

All tires are 205/60/15's now . There were 3 different sizes when i got it ,and were replaced with a new set. And yes left front at 15 Lb's shuts it up . We don't have many AWD cars in Mississippi so i don't relay know what to do . Of course you can you tube Just about anything and I see a lot of people describing A center diff Bering .

Did you replace the tire that you have running at 15psi as well with the other 3 ?
The reason I ask is you could have a separated tire and with more air in it, will cause the bulge / separation to pronounce itself more. That is if the noise is coming from the tire, also would think the post above could be correct about center diff. Subaru has 0/32nds tread life difference policy straight from manufacturer, thats why if you go to most tire shops with a flat tire ( that cannot be repaired ) or seperated tire you are stuck buying 4 new. So if running 3 different size tires at different tread life's for a significant period of time. There's a strong possibility, you may have an issue with your differential. |
