Default 2016 WRX 325whp / 350tq mustang dyno

2016 WRX 325whp / 350tq mustang dyno on 93 pump

Chart only shows 321/345, but that was like 3 consecutive runs, on the last run, where it had a chance to sit for a few minutes it hit 325/350. He had the torque at 369 on one run, but dialed it back most likely to save my clutch lol.



I dynoed without the grimm speed 3 port before and hit 311/350, i think i posted that dyno chart a few pages back in this thread.


mods:

AMS Light weight crank pulley
TGV deletes (no egr delete)
mishimoto intake
100 cell cat pipe
invidia q300 exhaust
grimm speed 3 port
AEM charge pipe
Turbo XS top mount intercooler
stock blow off valve

took 3 trips to procom to get this dialed in right, but its super solid now, just loving the car.

Denso Iridium one step colder plugs
Grimmspeed uppipe with 44mm EWG
Tomei equal length headers
Grimmspeed catless downpipe
Stock catback

We ended up backing off to 19.5 PSI for safety on the gas map and made 290 whp/340 torque which is less compared to what I had made on similar boost 2 yrs ago when i was minus ewg, inlet, tgv deletes and had a catted downpipe BUT was on 93 Octane BP gas and was a freezing Minnesota October day (high 30s low 40s)

You cant compare head to head but interesting nonetheless.

Anyways, car feels great. I use it as a daily an the occasional event.
It is quiet as stock during normal cruising but the (waste) gates(s) of hell open under boost. So much...theatricality.

One final unexpected thing that i have noticed: Fuel consumption improved dramatically when off boost. I was doing 24ish mpg crusing at 75mph now making 31-32 mpg it's kinda ridiculous. on boost it drinks e85 like crazy no surprise there. Not sure if it is the "reduced resistance" after inlet and tgv deletes.

Was the wastegate giving you issues or did he purposely have the boost creep up like that? Is this a OG, HTA, or HTZ green?

Nice, and so smooth. I expected it to sound like a nuclear powered fighter jet but i guess with a good tune it doesnt have to sound like its going to exploded.
