Default Best Vendor for Springs Install?

I'm looking for the best vendor in the DC Metro area to install my STI pinks and strut top mounts. I honestly don't have the time and the tools to do the install.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

I have an STi. I think the pinks are stock on the JDM STi or the Spec C STi...not sure though. They drop the USDM car lower than stock about 1" in the back in 1.5" in the front. I heard the handling difference is like night and day.

BTW, I got them from Myles at racecompengineering.com.

I am 99% sure that they don't come stock on anything, b/c I think the spring rates on the pinks are higher than the Spec C rates I remember seeing. I think they are the "lowering springs" for the STi.

oh, duh, me is kinda slow today.

Someone recommended amstuning.com which is close to me. I'll give em a call and if they cost too much I might take you up on your offer.

Right around the corner from you in gaithersburg is atlantic motorsports (http://www.amstuning.com)

They installed my springs, did a fine job, and didn't charge too much. They did my fuel injector swap too.

Well this thread is back from the dead, but if you're in Gaithersburg there is also Andrew @ Hillmuth. Andrew rocks.

Really though I doubt you can go wrong with any of the vendors in this thread.

*sigh*...sorry to spread some h8t, but you could save a butt ton o money learning to do it yourself. Granted, for serious things, I would take it to the pros, but springs and tops? jawbrkr and myself are WELL versed in this. but if you seek shoppage, please think of Myles. Maybe he will even blind you with his high beams! Seriously tho, for someone that instructs, knows subies and loves them, he is a great ethusiast/support contact.

Myles, when is that guy from Prodrive showing up?

Oops! I don't think I never resolved my old post, but the springs where installed within a few days of my original post by amstuning. Thanks to all the dudes that offered to help with the install. The willingness to help on the mid-a forum is noteworthy. Wish I had the time to learn about the insides of my car by doing my own installs, but I'm too overloaded with life outside of my car.

next time try and get some local help. It's a great way to learn about your car. However, we do have great vendors in the area.

Bump for jawbrkr...he's da man!
