Default Hybrid WRX Engine Oil Leak?

I have a 2004 2.0 heads mated to a 2.5 block. However I think I have an oil leak and need to find out which correct gasket I need to use to replace it with. I have included a picture. Its located right behind the whole timing belt cover on the driver side. A part number if possible would be great and if there's any other gaskets needed to go along with it is also appreciate it.

That gasket there is not your problem. If you are seeing oil there it is either left over from being spilled while filling the oil or you have an issue with a cam seal.

So far I've cleaned up that area really well and been driving for most of the day. So far no visible leaks, hopefully it was just oil spilled on there. Will continue to monitor the area.

If your not seeing any leaks than I'd suspect the oil that was there had dripped off the dipstick the last time you checked your oil. I've done that.

given the area if you have cleaned it up and it conitnues to leak and you havent been letting oil fall on the area, thats the area of a cam seal.

Or the front main seal or the around the oil pump or the caps for the wrist pin access... Really you need to see the leak to know what you need as it could be from many places.

PS: I can't see you pic so I don't know where you have oil

+1. take the cover off. this happened to me, but it turned out to be power steering fluid gathering in that rubber timing belt cover gasket.

I appreciate the tips guys. Yeah I've been keeping an eye on it, so far no more leaking. So knock on wood, it was probably just dripped oil.
