Wink Religious hypocrisy in the local police blotter...

A POLICE OFFICER was driving home from work at 11:37 p.m. Sept. 9 when he spotted a vehicle in the parking lot of Weigelia Gardens that was closed for business.
Lt. Russell MacArthur observed the 1989 red Mazda pull out of the parking lot with no headlights. Two other officers caught up with the Mazda as it pulled onto Quincy Circle in South Brunswick.

The suspect ran from his car and attempted to enter the rear door of his condominium, police said.

In the car was a statue of the Virgin Mary with a Weigelia Gardens price tag of $116, police said. Anthony R. Harris was charged with theft, possession of stolen property and resisting arrest. He also received summonses for careless driving and having a suspended license, police said.

On an unrelated note, oh thank god it's time to go home! Woooooohooooo!
