Hi "JDM Spec C", This is the same size wheels & tyres as I have but with what looks like a lower offset, how did you find clearance between the rear of the front wheels and the "arch" for lack of a better word, I.E where the sideskirt joins on? mine seems very tight on full lock and I am worried that when I get my spacers it will touch?

I'm still trying to figure out the whole wheel, tire, fitment, thing. Why do so many choose a 17x9 over say and 18x9? Is it for the look of a taller side wall or is there a performance benefit to the 17s?

17's are lighter more comfortable and tires are cheaper, 18's look better to some, and you can get stiffer wide walls with them. Some prefer one over the other, you'll get mixed reviews.
