Springs?
anyone put wrx springs into the baja struts yet?
i know most subaru supsension set ups are pretty damn interchangable. i mean ive put forester springs and struts into a 04 wrx (very nice lift kit) impreza springs into legacy wagon struts (super slammed) and lots of things like that... so my guess is they would fit.. But figured id check first. i dont have the 900 bucks right now to spring for some megan racing coils... even though i plan to in the future. but i can pick up a nice set of teins for 50 bucks.. so if the wrx springs fit... i think ill snag em. anyone know? i really dont have the time to be wasting experimenting right now. i would hardly have the time to install them alone...

Our rears are closer to an 05 LGT. Even if the springs fit, an impreza sedan is around 3100 pounds...Baja's at 3600-ish, there would be no gain.

Ok, why not spend a few hundred on springs (such as H&R or somehting like that) for an outback. They will actually fit, and lower the car. And you will have to shave the bump stops in either case.

because i had a buddy needing money, and id rather spend 50 bucks vs a few hundred if im going to get the same result. thats why i was curious if the wrx ones would fit.

For someone who claims SubarusRmyThing, you sure don't know crap about Baja's.

no need to be mean... the baja's rear is totally different than wrx. i have megan coils on my baja, but they'll only last about 30-40k miles before needing a rebuild. i plan on going with a legacy gt wagon spring set up. ill let you know, its supposed to get installed this weekend.
