If you have 9.5 with a 38 offset it's not much of a difference. Chances are you've already rolled the rear fenders and that's all you need to fit the 10 inch +40's. Maybe a few tenths more of negative camber. You can see in this pic that I'm flush with outer fender.

Thanks for the info man...still deciding

And yes, I already rolled the rear, running -3 front and -2.2 rear because main purpose is hitting the track.
I have another daily...I am just a bit worried I will rub under hard corning at the track though

Did fine without any rubbing issue with my current setup at the track

it's either your wheels
or 18 x 10 +40 CE28SL
or 18 x 9.5 +45 gold RG3 (safe setup for sure since only +45 offset)

I think his wheels are 18X10+39 with 265/35/18 MPSS.

Anyone thinking of grabbing these? Wanted to jump in here to show you all this new finish from SSR that just released! They are calling it Gunmetal Blue and I think it looks amazing. Offered in 18x9.5 +40 size perfect for STI and WRX. Limited release MSRP only $440 /wheel!

My new wheels are getting refinished, but my only choice right now is to run a 225/40/18 on some spares I have or not to drive my car at all. Will the 225 be safe to run temporarily no matter how dumb it'll look lol

I ran 225/40 on 18x10 +25 wheels for like 6 months, no issues.
