Default My Subaru Journal

I wanted to share my Subaru adventure.

My current:
2019 WRX STI Limited
Crystal Black Silica

Ordered: 8 Jan 2019
Received: 20 Apr 2019

My past Subarus:

2015 STI Limited
Dark Gray Metallic

Date Ordered: 15 Feb 14
Received: 8 Jun 14

2007 STi which I sold to purchase my 2015 STI. I drove 5 hours just to look at it before buying. It was the only stock STi within 6 hours, I was stationed at Eglin AFB, FL, at the time. Still completely stock.

Wife's current: 2014 Forester XT Touring, this is my wife's 10 Anniversary present I surprised her with. We love it!

History:
From the day my parents let me borrow their 1993 Legacy during high school I've loved Subaru. The shortest time span of owning one is #3, it was literally a park for a few days while I was working in the field and would drive home and park it while I used #2.
History listed:
1- 1993 Legacy, red light runner hit me and took this out in 2001.
2- 2005 Impreza 2.5 RS, traded in for 06 TR
3- 1991 Legacy, beater for my old work schedule.
4- 2006 WRX TR, traded in for #5.
5- 2009 Forester L.L. Bean Edition, traded in for #6.
6- 2007 STi, sold for #9.
7- 2011 Forester Touring, traded in for #8.
8- 2014 Forester XT Touring, LOVE this car.
9- 2015 STI Limited, sold #6 to purchase.
10- 2019 WRX STI Limited.
Past Subaru pictures:

Future:
There's no doubt I have a problem, I love Subaru. My wife lives with it and I don't want to fix it.

Thank you for looking!

I like them both. I keep the moonroof cover closed during the day as it's hot as all getup here. The radio is leaps and bounds better than my first STi (07).

Took my wife's FXT to tonights local meet.

On the way to the meet I stopped and took a picture of my wife's mileage, car was facing the sunset so it turned EyeSight off. 2,274 days of ownership.

You’re the man! That’s too funny lmao.

The number for the LH worked but I still can’t find the RH.

Shoot, my bad. I double checked the number and I missed the 5.

Bumper remained on the car. It was quite easy. Just two fender clips and one screw, bent the rubber'ish splash guard down and felt for the bezel tabs.

It's been over 8 months of driving and I'm well below my last STI. Within 8 moths with my 15 STI, I had about 7k miles.

That’s wild man but kudos to you for getting it in!

I alternate between my car and truck and don’t drive much aside from my commute to work.

Typical 5-7k a year on each vehicle.

Dirty Forester. Put about 250 miles on, in the last two days.

Cleaned, for now.

STI is still sitting in the garage. Spoiled.
