Well hopefully you are on way back together soon. Will feel great to get it completed and back on the road!

Here are some pictures of the fun from yesterday. Installed killer b oil pickup, whiteline 24mm front and rear bars with upgraded rear mounts, kartboy endlinks, and lastly TiC fcar bushings!

Everything went pretty smoothly until the very last bolt on passenger rear sway bar mount. Broke right off in the car. Super fun times of drilling it out and retapping it. Everything was completed and she is back on the road! Have to take some pics of the rear as after the bolt broke I wasn't in the mood for pics.

Pics!

Yeah, I just got my heads back on Friday. I'm just waiting on my short block now!

Also, maybe I'm missing something, but how in the world did you get the oil pan off with the engine in the car??

Couple threads on how-tos and in one of the pictures I have the motor mounts loose and the pitchmount undone. Used a jack to raise the entire assembly and was able to get a wobble to the back 4 bolts. Not the easiest thing in the world but I rest much easier knowing the Killer B unit is in there.

Quick update after installing the sways. They have made the car a dream to drive. The car goes where it is pointed. Mid corner the back end will instantly react to the throttle and it feels amazing. Current alignment is better suited to snow and less tire wear but the sways have made an impressive difference. No added noises.. Also a bonus!

TiC bushings appear like a big upgrade over the whiteline alk. Alks have a varying feel in the steering determined by input factors. Sometimes they would feel stiff or loose... TiC bushings have a nice solid and constant feel to them. Also being legal in my auto-x class makes me feel much more content.

Noticing while installing my suspension parts that my right front inner pad was down to 2mm or under. I ordered from KNS brakes their 4k rotors and ebc yellow stuff pads for the front. Should be getting those on this Friday.

http://i.imgur.com/gCyzILMl.jpg

Also I picked up a Garmin Virb elite to help record my autox adventures and hope to help figure out what I may be doing wrong and right. Fun videos to come I am sure.

Well some more pics and work completed. Amazed that the front brakes really didn't make any noise... Especially after seeing them off the car.

New brakes from Kns... Kns 4k fronts by DBA and EBC yellow stuff.

Another fun weekend with something to install. Cusco diffuser brackets and bar with 06-07 diffuser. Having whiteline heavy duty mounts I notched the Cusco bar around an inch and had no fitment issues.

Also after popping this up I had the front bumper resprayed this weekend.... Pics to come soon hopefully.

Thanks man! Really wanted to get a more elaborate diffuser but not really allowed in my auto-x class.

Now to get some new photos of it and the bumper. That would make my day.

So a few months back I ordered a wingless trunk lid. Unfortunately it didn't make it through shipping. Pretty dissapointing after searching for the last two years and thinking it was finally over. Here a few pics of the damage.

Took a few hours this weekend and did what we could to repair it. Not the best but it works for me.

Now I am just trying to figure out what to do with it. The rest of the paint is in decent shape so I have been thinking of doing a vinyl design to cover the area. Any ideas you would like to share with me please do!

Thinking of doing carbon fiber vinyl across it from side to side covering the damaged areas. Leaving the middle silver and then getting a limited wing and painting it black as well.

Somewhat like this. Not sure if I will cover the full back.

Yeah well I ordered a second trunk and it also was damaged in shipping..pretty bummed as this one was def nicer than the current trunk. As I was loading it back on the truck the driver said third times a charm. I sure hope so.

So I decided to work on the old one. Here it is wrapped. Just need to order my limited spoiler and she will be ready to roll.

Yeah I need more practice at wrapping or better tools. Couldn't quite cover the area I wanted to without unmanageable creases and air bubbles. I wanted it to go quite a bit higher than it is but no dice.

Decided to put some things together today. Picked up a black carpet out of a 07 wagon and cleaned and installed it this afternoon.

Also decided to put on my banged up and wrapped trunk to see what it looks like. Don't think it came out too bad. Will keep looking for a pristine trunk but this will do for now. Let me know what you think!

Thanks! I recently had my front bumper repainted and the body shop had to remove and reattached it so I not sure if they did anything special or different than when I adhered it on.

It is from the seller advanation on eBay. Had read that many had good luck with him its been on for over two years currently.

Haha thanks! I was worried about what it might look like but I like it so far.

Need to order my limited spoiler and pop it on as I continue to look for a non damaged trunk. Going to look into getting the rear seats reupholstered and blacking out the rest of the interior.

Well my first test and tune is in one day and these finally decided to show up. Just turning in the garage out into the driveway and back the caster is very noticeable. Time to be rid of my winter alignment specs and fit her up for auto-x.

Surprised that the feal 441s camber plates were just about the same stack height. But many other positives over the stock units.
