Traded in my 2010 WRX for a 2019 Lapis Blue Pearl STi. Love the car except for my older WRX with 122k miles still had better MPG than the new STI

These things look great. Wish it wasn't time to trade in the '07 WRX for a more family-friendly vehicle...

Loving my STi however the CarPlay just randomly started to not work.. dealership said that it will need to come in for a firm ware update? She said it was common and will need to be updated often.

That’s really inconvenient.

Keep this thread going, the 2019 is still different enough from the 2018 to warrant its own thread. Also there are people who may want to cross shop between the models.

Default 2019 STi Thread

Has anyone retrofitted the 2019’s headlights with that steering response projectors?

I want to add some halos, and a new C-light but curious to know if I need to watch out for anything

just picked up my 19 sti. seems like the old head units allowed you to change the color of the background. can't seem to find it on the 19 head unit. anybody know any way to change it? can't stand the blue color.

I enjoy a 2019 thread. I placed an order for a 2019 STI last month, should arrive the last week of this month (May). I have always loved Subbies and EVOs. Since they came to the US market at about 2003, I have worked diligently to be able to afford one, the time has come finally.

I will say it gets hard though. My local Honda dealer just called and they are willing to sell me a Type R under MSRP which is still a rarity. I will go see them in 2 weeks when it is time to turn in my lease. We will see what happens.

We will be in touch!
