Interesting. Not sure I'm a fan of the '07 STi Limited wheels on there. But hey it's your STi not mine

Then looked for some tires. I had them in my Tire Rack cart and decided to check craigslist for tires. Found some and made a deal with wheels and tires with very low miles. Still had the bumpy hair things on the tread! The original deal was I was going to dismount them, but realized all the tires shops are closed then he just said I can have the set for the same price. The wheels are motegi mr127 5x114.3 In total everything cost me $640 and I have an extra set of Motegi wheels and extra set of the stock wheels and tires I need to sell. |

I just picked up a set of silver '07 STi BBS wheels for $250. They were plastidipped black so I had to take that off but for the price I couldn't pass up on it. BTW F plastidip removal! lol |

A little update.
Added some King lift springs, rolled fenders and pressed in some urethane whiteline caster bushings. So far I love them. Didn't really have body roll before from the whiteline sway bar, but now the biggest difference is it doesn't lean forward or back on accelerating or braking. Feels more planted and I haven't bottomed out on anything. Last edited by ju5t1nwashere; 12-25-2019 at 04:35 PM. |

That body style took a while to grow on me as well. Wish they made the wagon the year I got mine. Love it!

Yeah it just happen to come up. I knew I wanted an STI and WRB as top. I wouldn't mind a WRX or any other year sedans either. |

Bought a crashed up bumper for $40 mocked it up and cut it, repaired it and painted it. Then built a bumper tube lol
Also repainted my spoiler since the clear coat was failing. I feel like I added to much or should of done something different, but I don't know what... I might redo it and just use 1 tube or bring the tubes tighter to the bumper. I'll be adding lights soon and making a brush skid plate for the bumper and full skid plate under the engine as well when I have time. |

Installed another lift lol. Front fender arch is 29 1/8” rear is 29” evened out the saggy butt from the King lift springs.
I also bought some cheap amazon lights 20" bar, 2 pods and made a few metal tabs. I hooked up relays from the OEM fog lamp power wire. So when I turn on the fog lights it triggers the relay and sends power straight from the battery. *Picture below is only with King lift springs.* Talking to someone at Braid wheels about 16" wheels that will fit over the Brembos. I'm still trying to decide if I want to go with downgrade 4/2 pots to get 15" or keep the Brembos and run 16". I'm leaning more towards leaving the Brembos and running 16s though. |

Little launch after work.
Making clearance. Next on my todo list is making fully adjustable front lower control arms. I already have the rod end/heims in my cart. I need some stock LCAs to make a jig though. |

Yeah still enjoying it.
Soon I'll be fabricating some fully adjustable lower control arms for the front. The stock bushings are sloppy and blown. I have rod ends, tube inserts, tube, hardware ect. just waiting on the stock lower control arms to come so I can make a jig. I also have perrin rear subframe bushings inserts I'll be installing soon probably tomorrow. The rear end sometimes "clunks". I also redid my exhaust too. After the rear subframe spacers and my 3" exhaust was rubbing on the driveshaft and rear driver cv boot. Installed new CV boots with only 3 rags... FML I hate CV grease. Extended some exhaust tubing and rewelded everything. Now I have clearance not rubbing anything and my muffler is tucked up back in stock location. I put on temporally extended muffler isolators previously to stop the exhaust from rubbing on everything. |

I did a thing. Blue and Gold
BEFORE AFTER I'm also installing a 2015+ STI steering rack. I just needed more fluid. My old one was leaking and decided to buy the newer one with the "Quick Turn Ratio" I only had half a bottle of ATF and ran to the store on the way home to buy more. Tomorrow I'm heading back to my dads to top off the fluid and measure and adjust the alignment. |
