Anyone have any idea of the length of the two bolts on a 2004 WRX that hold the driveshaft up to the car? I know they're M10x1.25

I'm not sure the OP has the correct information about the rear seat bolts - the 2003 sedan has six M8x1.25 bolts (4 upper, 2 lower).

Default Fastener numbers...

Subaru experts, I've done something bad, very bad. I've dismantled my engine in an attempt to replace the shortblock only to realize I didn't record where some of the various fasteners came from (you can verbally flog me later). I can figure out about 80-90% of them, however, there are a few that just are completely beyond me. I've also just noticed there are numbers on top of each of them. Can someone please tell me if these numbers reveal something useful about the fastener's intended location?

No, the numbers on top have nothing to do with their location.

I'll add a bit to this: The numbers reference the fastener strength.

What size are the two screws that attach the elbow between the bypass valve and the re circulation hose? They are two Phillips head screws. Thanks!

Hi there,

anyone know the grade/class of the bolt that fix the hub to a knuckle in 08 wrx, 5x100 pcd, impreza??

I would to change with a 10.9 class, but I'm not sure if is ok.
The oem bolt torque spec is 65Nm, the 10.9 M12 x 1.25 commercial bolt is 125Nm and the 8.8 class in the same spec is 88Nm.

Thanks

Any idea what length the head bolts for a phase 1 EJ25D are? I'm building a hybrid motor, and purchased some (head bolts) from a local subaru specialty shop. The color of the bolt heads are blue. They measure from tip to tip at 7.25". I've seen posts saying that that is used for DOHC turbos... Any guesses?

Anyone know the bolt size for the pitch stop mount bracket? I am looking for the lower bolt, the one that connects to the tranny, NOT the one that goes through the pitch stop
Thanks

Default JDM STi V8 Spec-C ITMF to Engine Bolt Size

Does anyone know what bolt length to use with a JDM STi V8 Spec-C ITMF to Engine? I know its a M8X1.25, but not to sure what length to run. I took a Micrometer and looks like I could run a M8X1.25X45mm. But just wanted to confirm that is not going to be to long?

After more time than I would like to admit searching Subaru JDM Part sights. I was able to find Subaru's JDM stock bolt size. Any one that wants to know what the length of the Stock JDM STi V8 Spec-C Long Runner ITMF Bolts to Engine Size is.

-JDM STi V8 Spec-C Long Runner ITMF Bolts-to-Engine Size: (Qt.8) M8 X 1.25 X 30mm
