Just another client shot. We couldn’t take the car off the lot because it’s sold.

My most recent example of my blending/brushing practice. I'm pretty happy with it, and ecstatic about finally pushing myself to learn.

This is 2 photos taken, rotating the CPL in between. Imported into LR and lightly edited/adjusted. Sent over to PS as a stack and merged. Brushed away the reflections then I sent it back into LR to brush over just the car to brighten it up and bring out the detail.

If I'm doing any of this wrong or if there's simpler/smarter steps to take, please let me know. I've got more photos I'll be editing as I'm posting this. Just wanted to show my progress. Thanks guys.

Yeah, there's a smarter way, skip LR completely.

Also, when polarizing for front windshield, make sure that part of it is opaque, that's what makes it look like glass. You don't want it completely clear, or completely opaque, you want something in between. It can be hard to do for sure, just keep your mind on it when you're polarizing.

Apart from the fact that it no longer looks like the car has a windshield, sure.

Come on man, get with the program...at some point.

No. Im not interested in being pretentious. Not everyone wants opaque on the window. Completely clear it still looks like a windshield. Not everyone will agree. You told him what you thought, so did I.

That car is so low if you went over a pebble, gone with your front lip. Nice photo!

well, got a CPL for my current favorite lens...and took a couple minutes yesterday on lunch to have a go, and then couple more today. yesterday, forgot about 3/4 of the things i had intended to keep in mind...today a little better... probably remembered 3/4 of the tips. (still forgot about RAW, idiot)

was just trying mult angles, seeing what did what, and how things got effected etc, etc. CC?? i have two nit picky issues, but would like to see what's mentioned.

That’s quite a good shot. I’d mess with the greens a bit but good job on the CPL.

thanks man.
throughout the shot? or just in trees and grass? like back of a bit...?

CPL, think i should have done one for the hood, and one for the windshield individually. i like this version of the windshield but reeked havoc on the hood. but the fully turned up windshield version made the hood look like poo.

Looking good FXTerrific!.. Err ssrcralliwrx!

It is very hard to find a good middle ground on the CPL shots.. Just take as many as you can and then see what ends up working out best would be my best thoughts. Can't ever have too many attempts.

Just keep practicing and you will start to see what works well. Least that has been my mindset.

Another from the other day. Bit foggy and dewy so the car isn't as clean as I would have hoped for. But I think it came out not terrible, wish for less reflections on the side.. Any input is welcome!
