Oh snap, didn't even see you were in Pittsburgh! We need to shoot sometime!

Nice! Get pics up when you are done! I also got some of the spray on brake dust cleaner to help as my StopTech pads dust a lot.

This looks so awesome, I've been debating between black and the gunmetal grey for mine as well. My OBS looks exactly the same as yours

This was kind of a test. I went black originally because you can actually buy locally. So did the winter wheels first and liked outcome, but others recommended the Glossifier. So ordered that up from DYC.com and used on the stock OBS wheels. Like that look for sure. Just figured why use the glossifier for winter wheels that will take more of a beating?

And the other side of the test is I eventually want 18's on there once I go with the coilovers. And I am partial to black or darker color on the silver cars. And trying this confirmed it in person!

Can't wait to see some other colors people try on our cars/wheels!

I plan to do my wheels in black soon, did you use black matte them follow with gloss?

Well, not exactly "black matte". I used the regular black PlastDip - 4 coats or so - and then topped with 3 coats of the PlastiDip Glossifier. Was all painted with PlastiDip products, not regular paint.

The black PD got at local Menards. The Glossifier I got from DipYourCar.com

I was looking at that lightbar/foglights set up for mine. Easy to do? any problems? also I'm in nj so front plates are required, does it block it at all without the middle light?

You can relocate the plate to where the tow hook goes. That's what I did.

And how it sits now...

Winter mode:

205/55-16 Blizzak WS70's on WRX wheels
Rally Armor UR mud flaps

I also recently installed a WRX cat back and a Perrin 19 mm rear sway bar but those aren't specifically part of my winter setup.

Hey everyone, recently started shopping around for a late model OBS. Have a few in the area lined up to go check out this weekend. Anything in particular I should keep an eye out for?

And, slightly off topic, but does anyone have any experience with Subaru's CPO program? Worth it or should I focus on private sale/independent dealers? The 7/100 powertrain plan seems tempting.

I bought my 2011 OBS CPO almost four months ago. I haven't had to use the warranty so I have no experience there but I have a great dealer to go to if need be. I liked the 7 year 100k mile warranty and got it for $500 which I feel was worth it. Just know the 7 years is from when the car was originally purchased. Not from when you purchase it.

$500 for the top tier, $0 deductible CPO warranty.
