Post synthetic oil = synthetic oil filter?

do i have to use a synthetic oil filter if i go the Mobil 1 route, or can i stick with my good ole purolator?

You can use any filter you like.

i was thinking of using synthetic next oil change

i used 10W 40 conventional
what should i use synthetic
i couldnt find mobil 1 synthetic 10 W 40

i would go the 10w 30 route, i heard is it's ash/viscosity level is really substantial hard driving conditions, but either one is fine, i just needed to know if i can use the regular oil filters or not...hope this helps..
