There could be other reasons other than the obvious. Perhaps if a sell doesn't come to pass, it will be parted out anyway. It is a lot of work to get that much damage fixed and roadworthy. Perhaps the original poster will discover the amount of time required to handle a problem this significant is to great and decide to part it out anyway. Maybe later down the line he will part it out and remember this post. Nobody asked you to speak on his behalf did they? I posed the question to the original poster so piss off. sorry about your buddies accident man. but, it still doesnt beat my wreck. nice try tho. at least he's ok.
heres a link to my wreck: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...albumId=621754 120mph (I kno.. I have a pathetic excuse, so I'm not even going to try), brakes locked up (metal-2-metal), into a willow. rolled over. I've learned my lesson since then. |

4wdrift: I am selling the car for a friend. If it doesn't sell I will buy the car off of him personally. So parting out will not be an option at this moment. This is more of a "parts car"
spoolinsti05: Would you please kindly keep such post through pm? I believe my price is within reason. PumpsGOTAWD: Thanks Paul. What can I say, ECS has done a lot for my group of friends. Hope business is all well. I will be seeing you soon for a new project. th3loadr: I'm glad your still here on Nasioc talking to me. |

sucks to see your friend and the car in that condition but atleast he's okay..
Are all the STi parts off the same donor car with the same mileage? Is the suspension still good? Looks like its given out in the rear.. It starts, how does it run though? Anything look to be leaking? I would be able to put the motor/tranny/brakes/suspension in my car and none of it would give me any problems? This is perfect for someone with a donor to bring everything over and save money on wiring if they have the tools to pull everything out. |

ok
how many miles has the swap been in the car for/ when was it done? the wiring is all worked out (no CELs)? any mods to the motor/tranny? do the fenders have to be rolled to fit with the suspension/tires? I'm trying to see how much I can get a loan for..And how much time it would take to swap it over to my 01.. But still got that thought what if something did break and ya just cant see it yet.. No modifications to the motor/transmission. Fenders were rolled previously before the swap was in the car so I can't say it would or would not. But based on my past experience 225 would require fenders rolled due to the GD track. |

OK, no biggy with the fenders..Sorry for multiple posts..Can't think of all the questions at once..
Are there any alignment issues/uneven wear due to the GD track? In the last picture, the car looks like its ready to do a wheelie..Whats with the suspension? And I cant tell from the pics but is the dash usable? I cant tell if it got smashed in on the side a little and wouldn't line up.. Im talkin to a few people I know with swaps and im tryin to figure out if i could do this cause i really want to.. I really want this!!! ahhh Last edited by Java Black Pearl STi; 10-29-2007 at 01:47 PM. |
