?? How is this a "waxing trick"
You are stating what everyone who details should already know (and I believe what is stated on the product bottle itself). And you may want to reconsider adding wax over freshly compounded paint. Polish should always follow compound (such as m205 since you like megs products) before you seal the paint and follow with wax if desired.

Compound is coarse stuff and cleaner wax has pretty aggressive diminishing abrasives too.. Your clear coat might be close to shot by now especially if you used direct drive or did this by hand.
