Wont the 02-04 WRX scoop fit the Baja hood?

Don't worry, they haven't done anything to my car yet, I'm still doing some research, namely EM for this thing...right now I'm leaning towards a PP6 w/ voltage clamp (with wrx fuel pump), I'm looking to make an Accessport or something a little more robust. It's going to be only 5-6 psi anyway, but the one thing I've learned from everyone else's mistake is to not half ass the management...

I think he means that you could've added the part numbers to the stickie thread yourself, not cut a hole in your hood by yourself...

That is the "OEM" Carbon Fiber hood that Erebuni was selling. It was actually the last one they made (wonder why). First off, it didn't fit... It was a Rev.D hood molded from a JDM B4. So the lines around the headlights are incorrect, and it is impossible to get the OE grille into the hood since the opening is a full 2" narrower. I tried to explain this to them, but their egos are too big to realize that they were wrong and made a mistake. They calimed to have sold "hundreds" of these hoods and no one has ever said anything about the hood not fitting. If this is true, how come I have yet to see anyone with it installed? If they infact sold "hundreds" then I imagine someone on the interweb would have posted pictures... The "racing" hood they sell fits good, but looks horrible IMO.

I no longer have the CF hood, I now have a steel JDM Rev.A hood, but that got FUBARed in shipping. Waiting on damage claim from DHL to go through. I was told I will have to wait till Nov. to hear anything it was shipped the 25th of July, spent 15 days in shipping. After three days of being promissed it was shipping that day I finally drove 1.5 hours and $20 in gas plus $20 in fairy tickets to cross the lake and get it myself

Bottom Line, DON'T USE DHL!!! This is the second item I have shipped with them, and the second ruined product.

Thanks for the info. I knew about the erebuni hood, but didn't think that was it. I wish I had a CF or an aluminum hood with a scoop. The forester's aluminum hood is so nice. I'm scared to close it though, it is so light...

Don't get that hood, btw- it's a Rev. D piece. If you didn't see Matt's thread about that a while ago.

I stated that in my post Mark. You don't need to worry anyway, as I had bought the last one...

Yeah, I knew not to get one of those. I've followed the CF hood threads since about 2002, and nobody has come up with a good solution for one yet. Now that this body style is old, we'll never get one...

I saw a Seibon OEM Style CF hood over at Yakuza Racing. Not sure if it's still available, but the price isn't bad:

http://yakuzaracing.com/en-us/dept_272.html

That's not a picture of the hood, but it should have either a hole for a stock scoop for an integrated one.

That's not a bad price, but it's not the actual hood?

The hood looks good, but that car looks bad with the stupid eyebrows and cheeseball grill and bumper. It actually makes the car look older and cheaper than it really is. I like the hood though...

Does anyone have any experience with VIS brand carbon fiber hoods? According to the Andy's Auto Sport web site, it says that it fits B4 models, so I am a bit unsure how this would fit on a BE model (I have a 2000 Subaru Legacy). Does anyone know if B4 hoods would fit BE's? Thanks for the help in advance. Sorry I don't have a link; I'm new here and don't have enough posts just yet to do so.
