Default fp green/2.0...round 2

last summer i finally did the turbo swap that ive wanted to do for about 3 years now, i put a 2.4/7cm ewg green on my 02 wrx along with 750cc injs and large top mount along with all other supporting mods...tbe, up pipe, inlet and fuel pump with the ap to finish it off, i took it down to agile and did a few runs, the car made 311 whp and 245wtq at 18 psi which wasnt too bad due to a terrible boost leak out of my oldschool txs bov.....

.....so after doing this swap ive figured out the weak points of everything ive done and im ready to start again, this time im goin with the greddy fmic instead of an ebay tmic and im gonna get rid of the tumbler valves and get a recirc bpv that hopefully wont leak

id really like to get a tune with race gas but im not sure what to be running, any opinions on whats good to use.....?

i cannot wait to get started....after everything is done id like to push it to 23,24 psi and see what the green is really capable of

How is the Green on the 2.0l I was thinking of maybe going this route eventually. About when does the boost come on?

18 psi isn't anything on that turbo, you need to turn the wick up on that thing. IMO, I'd research some other front mounts besides greddy.

FP Green is a lot of fun, full boost is around 4500-5000 rpm depending on what gear you started in. I recently tuned a 05 WRX Wagon with FP Green, Greddy FMIC, Spec C Intake Manifold, PE800s, and headers with catless TBE, . Using a UTEC with Speed Density I turned it up to 24 psi on 92 octane and the car flat out moves. If I get a chance I will be touching up the tune this weekend on the dyno and see what kind of power it is really making.

BTW the headers and Spec C manifold made me add 12% more fuel to get AFRs back to where they were before the installation of those mods. TGV deletes and good headers would be advised when pushing the limits on this turbo. You will need a Big MAF intake to push 24 psi on this turbo, I hit 5.0 volts maf at 6200 rpm but since it was UTEC SD this wasn't a problem.

yea sorry i was wondering what type of race fuel i should be running, my friend uses vp and loves it...just lookin for some opinions on what everyone is running in the wrx for a race fuel map

and like master said, boost comes on roughly around 4000 in 1st and maybe a little later in higher gears but it hits soo hard when it does, i love that feeling so waiting til 4k is worth it ha

i wanted to turn the boost up a bit more but with my bov leaking, it wouldnt have been the best of ideas until thats fixed...so im thinkin ill start at 22 or something and work my way up, id love to hit 360whp and somewhere close on the tq........all in all i love the green on my car, highly recommended!!
