Question possible vaccum leak ww/ samco induction hose

installed samco induction hose, i am hearing a faint high pitch
noise at low rpm, sounds like it may be normal and I just never noticed it before. I can only hear it with the hood open.I checked all fittings and clamps several times. To say the least I just about reinstalled this thing 3 times.any advice is appreaciated.
Anyone else w/ samco INDUCTION hose experiencing this?
Anyone know any tricks to finding vaccum leaks? Already tried spray oil.(wd40) Also the car pulls stronger and I have had no other problems (cel) .

thanks

Get a small bottle of propane and an attachment like this:

While idling, gently blow propane around areas where you suspect a vacuum leak. If it's leaking the engine will suck in the propane and rev faster. You can use ether instead, but it's messy and more expensive. Whatever you do, don't use mapp gas! I just grabbed the picture to show the kind of nozzle that makes it easy to direct where the gas goes.
