If you would like to check periodically to give yourself peace of mind, then pulling off the hose from the top port in each chamber where it meets your engine and checking for oil build up is the best way. QC

![]() So today the temperature drops to about 8F and after a 20 minutes drive and watching oil temp reaches 180F, I stopped the car, open the hood and just wanted to feel how warm or cool the V3 AOS is.
Well the AOS is not warm but it is not chill either, it feels to my bare hand to be about 60F. A litter cooler than I expected but I guess it is OK. |

Also keep in mind that our Dual chamber design has constant air flow through it so there is no condensation buildup inside of the system. QC |

![]() Tried installing on my ‘13 WRX and I’m running into fitment issues before I even get to running hoses. Has anyone successfully gotten this installed that can shed some light on the process that doesn’t refer to the instructions from Crawford?

![]() Crawford are you going to ever release the install instructions you promised for the 08-14 WRX? You advertise your V3 AOS for this model car and then fail to provide any install instructions.

![]() Here's my V3 Install on an EJ255.
EJ255 Crawford V3 https://imgur.com/gallery/teuB0 Let me know what questions you have and I'll do my best to explain each picture. The one that threw me for a loop was the "to intake". This line was run to the white plastic part just above the PCV. |

To start, I looked at your photos and if "to intake" (port 3) goes to the white PCV connector, where does port 4 connect? The Crawford "instructions" say to "white valve", and what you have port 3 connected to is the only "white valve" I can find. Second, where is the 17" hose supposed to go? "Instructions" simply say FROM right valve cover vent hose extension, but doesn't say where it's supposed to connect TO. Third, what is the 1/2' straight fitting for? ![]() So what's going on with the V3 for the GD cars? Noticed they said something about the hood not clearing? Is that the only issue? Does it hit a spot that's easy enough to cut out some of the support to get it to fit?

When bolting up the bracket, the hardest part is lining up the bolt holes if they have shifted after removing the bolts. If you have someone around that can pull back on the cover, use a mirror to determine when the holes are lined up, have them hold it there, then re-insert/tighten the bolts. |

![]() The V3 AOS will only work as intended it if it is installed per the instructions. The design utilizes the vacuum within the PCV system, so without it, it will not function properly.

![]() Wow I’m trying to decide what AOS to buy. The Crawford was on the top of the list. Not now!! I see they answered some of your guys questions but they failed to address the hard to answer ones like when will you provide the instructions with the $400 part you sold.

![]() Glad to see I'm not the only one having issues with MY08-14 WRX. Any updates on the install for the V3 yet? Don't mind taking her in to the guys at Fine Line, but would rather save that $$ for more parts..

In addition, this statement along with a port diagram is on the backside of all parts lists in each kit, which applies to either model: 1. The original Subaru hose from the crankcase vent to the intake manifold is removed, then the open port at the manifold is connected to Port 1 on the AOS, and the open port on the crankcase is connected to Port 2 on the AOS. 2. The original Subaru hose from the crankcase vent to the intake tube before the turbo is removed, then the open port at the intake tube is connected to Port 3 on the AOS, and the open port on the crankcase vent is connected to Port 4 on the AOS. Any of our customers are welcome to email [email protected] for one-on-one assistance with their installs. |

![]() Will you guys ever make a v3 for FMIC? (S0699) Or offer for us current STI v3 owners a relocation kit? Almost all aftermarket FMIC kits have piping that goes thru the current AOS v3 mounting location.
