I am very interested in the 04 scoop for my 02 bug eye. put me down for one.
Does this scoop have the clips to hold in the intercooler spray nozzels?

me personally, I think the shape and size of that scoop looks hideous, but I would buy it simply for the greater cooling.

especially with an aftermarket tmic

The new scoop has increased drag but makes a major improvement over the previous model/s as it now hooks air into the TMIC at speeds that the old one failed to work.

The older models stop scooping air at a certain speed as the scoop sits in a dead air zone created by the shape of the hood.

This "zone" moves backwards as speed increases to a point at a certain speed that the scoop basically is useless..

The new scoop solves the weakness

What is this speed that the stock WRX scoop goes kerplunk?

I've heard anything from 95 mph to 120 mph.
