![]() Acrylic can kill you in a crash because that stuff isn't shatter proof so it breaks into huge sharp pieces.

![]() Yes they sell Lexan at Home Depot. Make sure is polycarbonate . The big sheet like I got to do my rear window is like $9x.xx.

![]() Going to start my lexan window project soon for my rallyx car, but could use some tips with the glass and trim removal process. Not replacing the windshield. Hoping to re-install the trim, or install new trim. Does anyone have a link to a guide for the glass removal, or must have tools? Probably going to build a CF frame for the door glass, and glue or glue n screw the quarters and rear.
I could probably do okay without re-installing trim, mostly interested in keeping it water tight. Edit: I have a link to side glass trim removal ( ), but it seems the rear trim is actually embedded in the glass sealer and spans over the roof to the front windshield Last edited by tkvtec; 02-28-2023 at 02:42 PM. |
