Default Relieve fuel pressure with dead battery?

Hi all,
I have a 2012 STI with an aeromotive fuel regulator and fuel rail kit. Unfortunately, I have a fuel leak, but the battery is dead. Is there any way to relieve fuel pressure on a dead battery so I can take a look at the injectors?

Dead battery and a fuel leak? If the car has been sitting long enough for a battery to die AND has a fuel leak it probably has had enough time to bleed off residual pressure. I would say anything more a couple days is enough.

Another option: you could always charge the battery or swap in a good battery.

When in doubt wrap the end of the hose with a couple rags when you pull it off the fuel line nipple...
