Question trunk pop kills unlock button?

Had a trunk pop installed with 1 remote sec to unlock all 4, and 2 press pops trunk, works good, but i had to treck back to NY before we could figure out why : the drivers unlock button doesnt do a damn thing, lock works, and the remote unlock works, anyone deal with this and figure it out? I had it done before new years and havent used the button yet so its nothing i "Need" fixed, just wondering if anyones run across it. They guy installed this with 2 relays, apart from that i dont know what he did. Thanks

Try the button. This was covered a while ago. There is a problem with using the stock leyless system, and symptoms that you are describing are exactly what happens when you take the typical route of doing the trunk pop. I think they came up with solution that is doable by the average shadetree mechanic. I know I printed it out once, but never got around to doing it.
