I had a 400+ whp Evo 8, and I totally ruined the car. I'd probably still have it, except that it became such a hot rod, it was a pain in the ass. Maybe as a second vehicle, but daily driving something lot that is not fun. Trust me!

Good read for me. Thank you. I'm brand new here. Purchased a wrecked 2006 Impreza WRX with a 2.5L. Stripped it down, ditched the body, and starting a Factory Five 818.

Great read. Being new to Subaru ownership, I'm going to focus on getting as reliable a driveline as possible and getting the car where I'd like aesthetically before touching the engine.
