Anyone with the GreenYi octa-core unit -- where does the external microphone plug in?
Only option I'm seeing is the USB harness, but that seems incorrect.
Also, anyone else getting a skip in audio playback? Happening on Spotify and Plex. Running the Maly firmware.

There should be an extra harness that plugs into the back with a 3.5mm jack.

That's something I hadn't seen before. So they intend you to connect the short brown wire to either of those two, depending on which car you're installing in.

I wasn't aware that any Nissan models needed an SWC wire on pin #11 (which is actually #18 when going by Nissan's pin numbering scheme). On some recent Nissan models, that pin can be the vehicle speed signal.

Did your harness still have SWC wires on Subaru pins 4 and 14? All 3 pins are necessary (4, 13, 14) for all of your SWC buttons to work.

That sounded like you moved the former pin #11 wire into pin #9.

But your 2nd picture looks like you were able to extract the terminal and blue wire out of their gray antenna connector to re-pin into slot #9. If you did that, you shouldn't have needed to crimp or solder anything, as long as the extracted terminal was still good.

Can you post a link to the product page for the HU you ordered?

You can see in my first image the two SWC connections in 11 and 13 (top left of white connector). And yes, the brown wire clips into whichever one I needed to use.

Yes, all 8 buttons on my SWC work, and can be programmed for 16 different functions depending on short press or long press (for instance, I set the voice button is Mute on short and Home on long.)

The blue wire in their grey antenna connector had a very fat terminal pin, so I had to pry the old one off and re-use the terminal from former Nissan SWC on pin 11.
The two blue wires were factory split, one terminating and capped, the other going into the grey harness with the wrong size terminal pin.

I installed the subispeed v2 into the car tonight.

I saw the above post where you take the wire out of the one harness and put it into the #9 spot (blue wire). But the pin is much larger and doesn't fit into the harness.

I was under the impression that the blue wire just needed power so I just used an in-line splice and spliced it into the yellow wire.

My radio reception still seems pretty weak.

What color wire on the other side of the harness corresponds to spot #9?
It's possible that I didn't squeeze the connector enough and it didn't break the wire casing...but doubtful.

I need better radio reception. And in the video it's not exactly clear.

http://ae64.com/20-pin-pinout.htm states pin 9 is yellow/black. I'm colorblind, so I didn't register the color.

I believe you're correct, it only needs power. I didn't want to splice wires, so I re-pinned my blue wire, but I'd imagine an inline would work too. Unfortunately, I can't help troubleshoot more - my radio was fine with the powered blue wire and the factory antenna wire clipped in.

Just a heads up - solved this issue by updating the MCU from KLD_2.42 to KLD_2.50.
PLEASE validate your MCU version is KLD prior to throwing this on your unit - KLD MCU is not known to be compatible with other MCUs and may brick your unit.

Download only once you've confirmed your MTCD unit uses a KLD MCU.

If you do not mind, how do you go about installing this update? Can you use a USB or does it need to be the SD card?

EDIT: Disregard, found my answer!

For anyone else, the USB works. I installed the Maly ROM and the MCU via USB. The ROM was identified upon connecting the thumbdrive, the MCU needed to be updated via the Settings, where it automatically found the image on the USB drive.

Default Notificatuon bar x immersive use

I was very intrigued by the notification bar while using some apps like wade that should would be much better on full screen...

For anyone that wanna try a solution...root ur unit and get the force immersive xposed module...

I was able to force the apps I want to autohide the notification bar...

The extra screen space makes significant difference on resolution/proportion on some apps like waze and Spotify...

Is there anyway to get texts to go to the Head unit without screen mirroring?
It's a lot of work to set it up every time to screen mirroring.

I use my phone as a hotspot and use it that way. Is that the best way?

you can use tasker to make a task that just works while connected to the unit via BT to forward every text your phone receives to your unit email.

you wouldnt be able to reply..but at least it would notify you and let you read the message...

So I have updated to KLD_2.50 and now the GPS is wonky. It will disconnect for 5-10 seconds every few minutes. Using Waze, the Odometer is now kind of out of wack as well. It is about 3-4 seconds behind. When I was on 2.46, I did not have these issues. Anyone else experiencing this?

Sorry. I was confused in my later post here (on 6/21, where I suggested the terminal on the blue wire in the gray Nissan antenna would fit).

My earlier comment in the YT video was correct. At around 18:35, that video shows a Toyota/Lexus style antenna adapter -- with the white connector. Many of these Android vendors are also including that type of adapter in the set of harnesses. The blue power antenna lead in that Toyota/Lexus style adapter does have the proper size terminal to fit the vacant pin #9 slot in the plastic shell for the the 20-pin power/speaker harness.

If the gray Nissan style adapter is the only kind you get, you'll have to obtain another terminal from somewhere else (as Jeff240sx did), or splice into the factory pin #9 wire on the rear of the car's radio harness plug. For people who order something from me, I can probably throw in a blue wire with the proper terminal.

ADDED: The vendor should do that for you, since they're advertising these as intended for a Subaru, and Subarus require that pin. It's worth asking them before you finalize your order.

My pin-out table (that Jeff240sx linked to) only covers up to 2011. The wire colors in later models/years may be different. In your 2015, the factory wire does still happen to be yellow/black.

Make sure you tapped into the correct wire. Verify by pin position -- when you click on the pictures on my pin-out page, some of the larger versions are annotated with pin numbers.

Also make sure you're feeding the car's antenna booster amp. with switched power (not constant), and that it is no less than 12.0 Volts. See the 'power antenna wire' section of this guide.
