Question Springs available for 2004 WRX sedan.

I'm trying to find a set of springs that are 2004 WRX Sedan specific. No 02-03 springs with strut top mounts.

I've been reading through this forum to find the answer, but can't find some solid information!

Can anyone come up with a list which springs are available just for the 04s? The only one that I know is the STI Spec C springs. Anything else?

Also, does anyone know what the spring rates are for stock '04 sedans? I just wanna know which aftermarket springs go well with the stock struts...(Can't afford a set of aftermarket struts for now )

Thanks guys!

Tanabe GF210 Springs are out. They will drop 1.3 in front and 1.0 in rear.

Eibach has theres out also, it will drop the same amount.

H&R is suppose to have their out anytime this month also. These are the only ones i know of so far. Once i get some money, I am probably going to buy the Tanabe springs.

Oh, and Yes, these are actually made for the 04's, so no changing of rear strut tops are needed.

I think I read that the Tanabe's are 4.3Kg F and 4.0Kg R.

Tha would put them on the stiff side, and the stock struts would be VERY unhappy at that rate.

I really like the stock setup, and would like to get a set of lowering springs that'll give a similar feel like stock.

What are the spring rates I should look for? (I'm really new to this suspension/spring things )

bluestone - the springs are progressive F&R. The spring rates are different @ different levels of compression:

Fronts -> @ 1" -> 125lb/in @ 2" -> 230lb/in (@ more then 2" compression, spring rates keep going up).

Rears -> @ 1" -> 100lb/in @ 2" -> 195lb/in (@ more then 2" compression, spring rates keep going up).

The ride with the Sport Spec springs on the MY04 WRX is very comparable to the stock ride on the STi.

Grill is custom done.

Whiplash - We have 3 sets of our Sport Spec for the MY04 WRX left.

bluestone - they're designed to work with the stock WRX struts or OE/Aftermarket like the STi or the AGX's.

Ride and handling are akin to the WRX STi.
