Default 2015 wrx Upgrades that won't void warranty

Hi Everyone, I recently purchased a 2015 wrx premium cvt. I know automatic.... I like the paddle shifters when I need to keep the revs high. Anyways it is my daily driver and I am not looking back.

I want to purchase upgrades that won't void my warranty in any way or take any chances. I bought the gold plus warranty so I don't have to worry about the little things going wrong. Trust me they add up.

I'm fairly knowledgeable with cars so feel free to bring up anything. I would love to add a few HP but I am open to anything. Also feel free to give me links.

I tried searching spt parts but everything that pops up doesn't look like its worth buying. Example - sti valve caps... maybe down the road but lets make this little car rumble.

Thank you.

Drop and a Lip.

Seriously though, maybe a cat back exhaust? There aren't many engine modifications that you can will keep Subaru from denying an warranty claim if anything goes wrong.

Not to be overly picky, but Subaru doesn't void the warranty. However if you mod the car then something breaks they can deny your warranty claim if it's possible the modification caused the failure. So if you lower the car and your motor blows up they should still cover the motor because lowering the car doesn't affect the engine.

Catback or axleback exhaust. Anything more than that engine/power wise and you'll need a tune, not to mention that most tuners won't even touch a CVT.

Other than that, a mild suspension drop with springs, new wheels, anything cosmetic really.

I assume you mean performance upgrades; there are a bunch of other options possible, though: head unit, speakers, floor mats, wheels ...

I went with a Perrin CBE, and upgraded my lights.

Went with an LED switchback C Light, HID headlights, LED high beams, LED fogs w/projector housing. Also tinted it 35% all the way around.

My next changes are going to be wheels & upgrade the headunit.

Idk man I would just be safe and hold off. Subaru will find a reason to void your claim more often than none. This is why I added a bunch of stock options to my build

Let LED's light your way!

In general, your warranty cannot be voided. Your claim however can be denied.

Voiding a warranty is extreme and does not happen often.

Any modification can technically be grounds for denial of a claim. It must be proven that such modification caused the failure.

If a claim not denied, but your modification is within the scope of the claim, the dealer has the right to assess additional time and charge you should that modification cause the dealership to take longer to address such claim.

For example, if you install chassis bracing that is not originally a part of the car, and the dealer has to remove such chassis bracing to address the warranted item(s), then the dealer has the right to charge you their time to remove and reinstall the chassis bracing as it is outside the scope of the claim.

Thank you everyone. I would like to put a new head unit in that has a touch screen. Does the 2016 OEM head unit work for a 2015? Cost? Any suggestions on opening the exhaust a little more? Do people delete cats in these cars?
