Keep the car in a garage or outside?
Which is better? Park the car in a garage in the winter time when it been driven and is covered in salt ,snow,etc..or leave it outside so snow doesn't melt and mix with the salt on car?

The solution is to simply pour more salt on it, after the snow melts, to even out whatever was diluted by the snow.

best is to shrink wrap the car during the winter.

You're doing it wrong, keep the car in the garage and call Uber.
Attached or detached? Assuming not heated? Single car? If attached I'd say bring it in so the snow will melt and you won't have frozen doors when you go to use it in the morning. |

I don't think it much matters. Driving around on salted roads with a mixture of salty water and chemicals is already doing more than just parking it in or outdoors. I'd say park inside so the ambient temp is a little better and the car may warm up faster when you go drive it. Unless you move to where winter doesn't exist there is nothing you can do to prevent the inevitable onset of salt-induced corrosion. All you can do is clean it as often as reasonable and delay the onset.

Parking outside really isn't the worst as long as the paint is properly sealed.
