![]() ![]() ![]() You should consider TWS T-66F 18x9.5 40+. Pricey forged wheels at $845 each, but looks mean on the the new WRX design. Photos from Racecompengineering website

Good looking wheel, but too rich for my blood. While I do love quality wheels, I don't like knowing I am cruising around on wheels that are nearly a 1/3 price of the car. Most i'll spend on a wheel is around 2500. Anything more, I would feel too guilty haha. |

![]() haha yep that's what I thought of too when I first saw these wheels TSW?? Yea I know what you mean, I would feel guilty too spending money that can go paying down or off a car.
I don't mean to flood up your thread on wheel suggestion, but maybe bite off Overland style and consider these: SSR GTVO2 18x9.5 +45 ![]() Right in your ally in price, $441 at evasivemotorsports.com, maybe cheaper somewhere else. |

![]() I'm sure he's already considering those. I'd go +40 though.

Yes, the GTV02's are on my list. I would go with the ET35 offset though. I do like these wheels a lot, but I think I am still swaying towards the 57dr's. I need to make a decision soon because someone is buying my OEM's! Yes sir. Although, they come in et35, |

![]() Hmm I guess the source (SSR) could be wrong or out of date. Interesting.

![]() Sorry maybe I didn't skim through the pages thoroughly. I was going to say the next offset down is +35.
57dr's are a nice set too. Pretty sure whatever you choose, they will go well with your STI. Good luck with you purchase! Check out ravspec or evasivemotorsports, if you haven't already. |

![]() There is always that, but as I said earlier. I tend to shy away from wheels that would give me anxiety driving on. While I don't like to sacrifice on wheels that are poorly design/engineered, I also am not baller enough to rock 4k wheels on the daily. Keep in mind, I am in NJ and this set of wheels will be my one and all. They will see rain, snow, salt, etc. I'd cringe seeing the TE's get destroyed throughout the winter months. Maybe down the line when I can swing 2 sets of wheels, but for now I will be more than pleased with whatever I choose in the 1500-2k zone.
Not to mention our second kid a few weeks away and home renovations/improvements going on. Adulting at it's finest. As irresponsible as I am buying things for a diminishing asset, I tend to think I am rational with my spending habits elsewhere. There is a line for all of us and for wheels, spending 3k+ is that line for me. At least for now ![]() |

Having 1 set that can do it all is extremely appealing to me. No swapping of wheels each season or worrying when the temp is going to dip below 40 degrees for good. I just have a hard time justifying the price of having 2 sets of wheels when an STI on stock power isn't anything to write home about. It's quick for the most part, but it isn't anything that you needed dedicated summers for. A really good all season is more capable than you think. I remember I took a buddy out in my WRX that was stage 1+ on michelin A/S 3's. Took him on a spirited drive to show him what the car was capable of. We both drove/drive m3's and have had our experience in some serious cars before. He was floored by the grip and overall handling of the car. I had other supporting mods (coils, sways, etc.), but the all seasons performed higher than any of our expectations. At that moment I said I wouldn't buy a summer tire again unless I was doing autox or tracking. Just my own personal opinion and years and years of experience. Would I enjoy having 2 sets? Of course I would. But I just don't find the need for it in my use of the car. |

![]() I had a set of Mag Blue 57Dr's on my hatch. I love that wheel. Wish they would make them in 5x120 - would love a set for my F30.
