![]() I changed the spark plugs in my 2017 WRX that has 44K miles on it this weekend and noticed one plug had some oil build up and looked like there are some issues.
Ive added images below. But, is this due to a gasket leak or should I look into something else? The car runs fine and has no loss of power. The order of the plugs is the same as orientation as they were pulled from the engine. ![]() ![]()

![]() Your topic heading is very similar to mine from several years ago...
One oily spark plug I installed two oil catch cans. Whether they've helped or not, I've not had any further oil related issues. |

I have an AOS installed and was hoping this would help prevent this exact situation. Not sure what else I could do but try a different company or setup a catch can and AOS combination |
