Default Brilliant Write up, Thanks!

Just finished wiring this all up. Very detailed and easy to follow. Thanks for including pictures of everything.

Cheers

For those who are still wondering. 05' sti wires are blue with white stripe instead of the red with green stripe. On the relay and the fog light button. Everything else was the same. Great write up!

Just did this and it works. I do have a couple problems I can't figure out. The biggest one is that I have retrofitted an sti intercooler sprayer in my 06 wrx using this write up http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/engine...tallation.html and now it don't work when I push the switch. It does however spray by itself once upon ignition on. Also now my dome light stays on unless I put the switch in the off position. It used to automatically go off by itself after a little bit when the switch was in the middle position.

Default Works great on my '02 Sedan

This worked perfectly on my car, I also did a DRL delete while I was messing with wires. I had run into a problem after switching to xkglow LED headlights, where if I hit the fog switch it would activate my by high beams. This also resolved that problem, which I had yet to find a solution to. Thanks!!!

I'm looking to do this on my '04 so I can run my JDM fogs without having my headlights on all the time. The write up seems pretty easy to follow, but the pictures don't load any longer in the first post (I really hate Photobucket). Does anybody have any pics saved any where, or is there another tutorial somewhere with pictures?

Default Works on an 04 Forester XT.

I just got done doing this to my 04 FXT and the steps are exactly the same. Every wire and relay you need for the project is in the exact same place. Doing this allowed me to run led fog and headlights without the brights getting stuck on. Sorry to revive an old thread but I thought it might help out other Forester owners trying to do the same thing.

Cool

I just did this mod to my 2002 wrx, I have this morimoto hid projector kit & this control relay harness installed. For years I haven't been able to use high beam and the Fogs in town without manualy switching the fogs off with every high to low selection.

This mod solved that problem I'm sure there isn't a ton of folks out there with this issue and these same parts. but nonetheless this is how you fix it.
