![]() What’s up fellas? Trying to figure out what this noise is coming from my 13’ wrx hatch.
I recently had the throwout bearing changed because it was making a squealing noise and now that noise is gone and Ofcourse a new noise came up the same day. The car is making a clunking metal noise when on deceleration in first and second gears. The noise is coming from the front passengers side of the car. After driving the car for about 5 minutes then noise just goes away and doesn’t come back until I start the car again later after it’s cooled off. Any input helps guy. It’s deeply appreciated.

![]() EDIT: Just noticed the original thread is from 2018... My fault...
Do you have a video of the sound? I would check all endlinks, bushings, suspension top hats etc etc. Check those before you start diagnosing major mechanical components. Sometimes it really is the simplest things. The only thing that sounds strange is the fact that it goes away while warm. When was the last time you changed your oil? |
