![]() the image link always has to end in .jpg. In photobucket, there is a quick link tool you can copy on the side labelled IMG. Just copy and paste that into nasioc and it will display the pic.

![]() Blacked out my LED work lights and light bar.
6 LED work lights behind grille. Two of the work lights are tinted yellow for fog and will be wired to my round fogs. Four of the work lights wired to a button and spliced to that button is a trailer connector for me to plug in my light bar when needed for deer burning brightness. Had to make custom bar brackets and mounts for behind the grille. Bluetooth RGB Demon eyes also connected to grille glow. Adding halos soon! Happy to provide installation tips if anyone needs! Blacked out light bars in last photo are going on my GF's Xterra soon. http://i.imgur.com/hlS1DyX.jpg http://i.imgur.com/LnVCCbN.jpg http://i.imgur.com/KlLMzk1.jpg http://i.imgur.com/dZGUrTi.jpg |

![]() Installed PIAA 530 LED driving lights behind my grille with the Perrin horn bracket. You will need screws and nuts to mount the lights as the ones included are too large for the holes on the Perrin bracket. For cars with traditional halogen high beams you could simply tap into either high beam connector and use an inline fuse. My car has the bi-LED setup so I powered the PIAAs off of the high beam fuse in the engine bay fusebox. An add-a-fuse and 2 amp blade fuse is all you'll need. Yes, you read that right 2 amps. These don't even draw 1 amp of current yet are bright enough to be a high beam on their own.
I didn't fail on a bunch of image links, apparently there's a 10 pic limit so I cut out the less important ones. Link to the full album: https://imgur.com/a/jkK1wg8 First, remove the bumper (plenty of how-to's on this) https://imgur.com/wiBmbBp.jpg Remove horn and radiator support bolts https://imgur.com/9zS8GAh.jpg Relocate the horn, I chose this spot at the bottom of the radiator support https://imgur.com/h7jmnIr.jpg Attach the Perrin horn bracket per their instructions https://imgur.com/f4lZKmA.jpg Mount the light brackets, make sure they're level https://imgur.com/HUrr4CZ.jpg Attach the lights to their brackets https://imgur.com/8Ltnbcp.jpg At this point get the lights aimed how you like https://imgur.com/IMV3wJZ.jpg Plenty of clearance for the grille and bumper https://imgur.com/HnGuYXA.jpg Run the wires along the hood release cable (that weird silver thing in the top right is my work light haha) https://imgur.com/FZGVTS7.jpg Tidy up any excess behind the driver's side headlight https://imgur.com/CDb1lmD.jpg Ground using the fender bolt, run positive into the fusebox https://imgur.com/RsooZeD.jpg Use an add-a-fuse to power the lights off the high beam circuit https://imgur.com/94Vn6FX.jpg Done! While off they're barely noticeable https://imgur.com/qqrL3Uo.jpg Very bright for the size and minimal current draw https://imgur.com/rS7dBFe.jpg I don't have any on the road shots, but these are roughly equivalent to the factory high beam in brightness. Color temperature is a very close match as well. When aimed properly they effectively double the amount of light on the road with high beams on. |

![]() I'm thinking about trying to squeeze in a light bar above my fmic on my 2016 sti.
Surprisingly I haven't found any threads on this, so I'm wondering if anyone here has any input. I figure you get up to a 4" fmic, so if there isnt any hella horns there should be plenty of room as you could push the bar all the way back almost touching the contact point in front of the radiator. I know diode dyanimics has their light setup that fits, but I can't find any dimensions on it. I want to put a 20" rigid bar in there and would make a custom mounting bracket to push it as far back as possible. I would go with their midnight series, but the beam is pretty narrow. I'm considering the adapt series for the adjustable lights, but I think it's almost 5" thick and not sure it'll fit. Anyone have some input here? Do y'all think it will be obvious the bar is in there? I currently have hella horns painted black that you can't see at all (and will be moving them for the bar... |

![]() A Comparison:
Low Beams: High Beams: Baja Sqadron Combos + lows: It's about 15m/40ft to the 05 FXT, and the white house behind it is another 10m/35 feet behind the XFT and the Baja's cast quite the shadow. |

![]() Has anyone wired their auxiliary lights to sync with their low or high beams?
I'm a complete noob with electrical stuff. A couple people have given me some options; one was using a relay which I now fully understand, and the other was using an add-a-fuse tapping into the low or high beam fuse. The latter should be cheaper and easier, so I'm trying to figure out if it's worth pursuing; some people have raised concerns that it may either leach power from the headlights and cause problems, or it might even just power the auxiliary lighting constantly instead of only powering when the specific beam is active (because the fuse exists before the switch or something?). Can anyone weigh in on this? |

![]() Realize this is not really "auxiliary lighting", but the result was well worth the investment. Primary goal was light output while maintaining stock locations and improving overall looks. SubiSpeed v2 Redline Headlights, SubiSpeed Facelift JDM Style DRL Foglight Bezels, and Baja Designs SAE Squadron Fogs.
