FYI...

I have a set on a hatch I just bought. Previous owner put them on years ago. The red faded to a pale pink. Heard that uv stability is/was a known issue. Not sure if they ever put out a “gen 2” to fix them, so this may be why they’re hard to find..

As background, this car has been in Seattle since new and was garaged, so it’s not like it was parked in a harsh UV environment.

They do look good. Wish I could find replacements.

Thanks for the info - I've definitely heard of the UV issues on early batches, but that was indeed corrected with a "v2" without ever launching a true second version, so it's difficult to figure out which is which!
