![]() This is a valid question. Where I live, if you ask for tea you're getting diabetea. To me it's syrupy, but the people around here love it. I'm guessing the 7-11 tea you're talking about is even more overly sweetened.

![]() The sweet tea line seems to be somewhere in VA on the east coast. South of that if you ask for tea outside of chain restaurants, from past experience, it's going to be sweet tea. North of this line in VA it's not going to be sweet. If you ask for sweet tea without asking what they think sweet tea is north of this line you're going to get GD raspberry tea.

![]() Yea.. here it's always been one way. You order tea and they give you a glass of very bitter unsweetened. Period. Needs diabetes number of packets to make it marginally drinkable. Some places do it so poorly where the tea to water ratio is all jacked so it winds up even worse and nothing you can do to fix it. If you're at a half decent restaurant the help staff can usually be trusted to make an Arnold Palmer that doesn't suck. Otherwise if you've a hankering and absolutely must have tea, only safe option is hot. At least there most places spend a little more for the bags and you get to mess with it to your own taste.

![]() ![]() Not really worse or better just kind of, eh? The pop tart back half ****s the whole thing up. If it were all pretzel it would be great. Charge more, make it a chocolate filled pretzel. It’s not bad, it’s just.. eh. |

![]() I didn't *buy* it, but I kept hearing about espresso tonic... I was excite, because I love espresso, and I love gin & tonic.
I picked up some good tonic (not the cheap seagrams stuff), made some good espresso, and I tried several recipes... and none of them were spectacular. They varied from meh to awful. The best version used ginger syrup and a generous squeeze of lemon juice, but it was still nothing to write home about. Conclusion: espresso tonic is hipster nonsense. ![]() Feels like deja vu. This time with MCT oil.
![]() Not sure why I got this.. and I don't know what the **** a monkey fruit is or why we'd use it for sweetener. In any case might try and kill it quickly rather than pouring it out. |

![]() My experience is not exactly about specific food, but more about preparation and service. I went to one of the neighborhood restaurants and wanted to get calf liver with onions, I love this stuff. I know that it's hard to get a nice piece of meat without veins, and when I was ordering it, I told waitress, please make sure that it doesn't have a lot of veins. When I got my dish and started cutting it and it was basically all veins. I called the waitress to show her what I got, she apologized and offered something else but I already lost the appetite. It was so traumatic experience

![]() I can't think of a better way to explain it. Vaguely salty, sort of sweet in a weird, chemical kind of way, as though someone had spilled a bunch of popcorn and soda on the floor next to you a few hours ago and you could sort of still smell it after trying to clean it up.

It’s lower carbs than sugar, according to the people on diet sites. Only 4carbs per tsp. Sugar is double that at 8 carbs....... Per 2 tsp. |

![]() ![]() It sounded cool. It is what it says it is: Coffee mixed with Coke. But the experience is akin to a going-flat vanilla coke with coffee flavoring. EDIT: WTF is up with that image size. ![]() Don't buy it. You'll regret it. ![]() |
