I managed to convert all of my BTC 0.02137 ($814)worth

in ETH right before the crash. I got lucky. Not that I had a plan, but I did manage to sell 2 ETH's for almost 3k. HODLing my ETH. I think its just a dip, and waiting for it go back up. If not, then we should take advantage of the dip, especially a crash. Either way, I see it as a win win.

total bitcoin in existence is about 18 million.

total dollars in circulation is about 1.5 trillion.

by a 1:1 standard, the price of a bitcoin should be over 80,000. maybe I should invest more.

additionally, while the fed can print more money (or destroy it) to change how many dollars are in circulation, the schedule for how a bitcoin is created is very precise.

you should really spend a bit of time educating yourself. not because it's a good investment, but because it can help you better form arguments for why you will never invest in bitcoin, at least arguments that won't make you look silly.

bitcoin as a currency, like paying for a burger and fries currency, seems silly though, how much for that burger and fries? that'll be 0.00015 bitcoin please.

No hat required, that's all the market is really, proven openly years ago. Some of us peasants get lucky on the big pump and dumps, others get scammed. Rinse, repeat.

The blockchain tech pioneered by Bitcoin, then later on much much improved with further coins, will eventually be used in lots of stuff and actually already is in a lot of places around the world.

Agree with this, but also using the term coin is misleading. I'd say a Satoshi is actually the better metric. Currently 100 Satoshi is worth about $0.03.

I guess it's kind of part of a grey area in law.

Seems to me it's more a matter of who is circulating the most.

I certainly don't want any dealings in the same currency organized crime has fallen in love with to this degree. I guess these things are that easy to track if they end up being laundered for organized crime. I'm going to be difficult to convince of that.

Kinda my favorite development of all this is it seems some really bad people have gotten out of dollars.

Obviously dubiousness is not a very rare thing.

As you know we were going through a lull, but it looks like it is picking back up again! I still have my target in mind and hopefully going to hit it this next run.

As an aside, yesterday morning I was hearing all the dogecoin talk so I thought, F it. I sold my Lisk that hasn't done anything in forever and put it in Doge. It was only a little more than $200 but its tripled already

. I'm going to keep it in a bit longer and see if these idiots can't take it to $0.10

They did, but then reopened a US market, binance.us

You have to go through a new registration/validation procedure, though.
