Champloo is ****ing rad! One of my all time favorites. You get both ends of the spectrum with Mugen (crazy & reckless) and Jin (gentlemanly and adapt his craft). Almost every episode is great with the exception of a few strange ones (the shroom and baseball episodes!??! WTF). Its got a cool soundtrack too.

Great story with 2 series, 13 episodes each.
It was on the SciFi channel about 5yrs ago and I've been looking for it ever since.

but debating if i should turn to manga. been watching naruto on anime, but my friend suggested me to read the manga...and i read 100 chapters in less than 2 days. totally 2 different stories right now. but im sure somewhere down the line they will merge again

AMAZING! It's comprable to Cowboy bebop, but instead of Jazz and Space it's Samurai and HipHop. One of my favorite series of all time.

If you like Ninja Scroll, check out Basilisk. Similar, but it's a whole series.

I have Gurren Lagann, but have yet to sit down and watch it.

I'm gonna also recommend this one. It is great. Semi historical plus hip-hop soundtrack. Quirky and interesting. If you like Bebop you will probably like it.

Eureka is another good one.
Capeta will make you want to go carting.

Wangan Midnight is subbed up to like ep 19 now.
Kurozuka is interesting but I forgot to get eps after like 10 some I'm not completely caught up.
Over Drive is kinda neat. Sports related will make you want to take up road biking.
Witch Hunter Robin is good but I haven't finished it yet.

i help translate the chinese subs into english for a few different sub groups in the past.

im working on gundam 00 right now, and worked on macross frontier. i avoid that bull**** ecchi/moe stuff like the plague, but if its got pew pew lasers or comedy, im all over it.

I don't get the obsessions with Bleach and Naruto. I tried to watch them but it was just so damn stupid.

I'm going through all the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex episodes right now. About 3 from being done.

I enjoyed Gundam Wing, but the rest of the Gundams didn't strike me.

It's all about what you like. I don't like harem comedies so I just don't watch them. Bleach and Naruto and Dragon Ball Z are all in a similar vein. Its about watching one person that wants to be come the best/strongest at what they do and epic fight scenes. The filler stuff is annoying though.
