Two lane road with an additional turning lane. Some idiot pulls from the right lane to the left lane trying to turn left at the light while there are several people waiting to turn left. I honk since it was an abrupt lane change into my lane and he/she honks back

. I go to pull the video after I park and it looks like my microSD card is corrupt

. It looks like it was a fake Samsung from newegg.

Do you guys check your video footage every now and then to make sure everything is working? I just swapped this card in a few months ago and never really checked anything since then. Probably should check it every now and then.

Whenever you get a new card, you should do a test recording and them pull it off to see the results to make sure it's working.

I did that. Actually the problem was my phone/microSD card reader. The app I was using didn't want to read it. Looks like the card is actually fine

Yeah, the camera should tell you if it's recording or not. LED lights or just plain information on the screen.

Mine decided to lock all the files due to G-sensor settings one time. I just turned that off.

Yea, my front camera is behind my rear view mirror so I don't usually see it. It was working after all but it did lead me to the manual which recommends formatting every week, and a lifespan expectancy of 6 months for an SD card.

I hooked up my lk-290 voltage cutoff device a few days ago, works as intended, keeps the cameras on until voltage drops to 12.4 and then cuts them off. Haven't checked exactly but it is probably about an hour or so in the winter.

I think this video shows the good nighttime video quality of my Matego MG380G, too. The street signs are clearly readable.

In Tampa, I had a guy flash his beams AND blow the horn because I chose to stop at a yellow light as it turned red, rather than running the red light.

People who jam on the brakes to stop at yellows are a menace.

It was 11pm on a Tuesday, like 12 years ago. (I know I know, we had video cameras then too).
