Took my boys to the U of North Texas game vs Lamar. It was fun. Walked up and got 2nd row on the end zone line. Stadium just about half filled. Even though I graduated from there I had never been to a game. Good cheap entertainment.

Bama just did what they always do- run an opponent to the point of exhaustion and then outlast them by a quarter. Most of the time it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I'm pretty sure there are no MAC fans here but I was impressed with The WMU broncos both offence and defense against USC. It seemed like conditioning was the game changer, the broncos defensive line looked tired by the 4th qtr.

They were at home against a lowly WMU which was leading them in the 4th quarter and scored 31 points on them.

The USC QB, who was said to be Heisman material, had chicken legs and threw two interceptions.

The coach did a p***8364;£$ poor job preparing his team who looked out of sorts and didn't appear to want to be there.

They had to have a blind kid kick the ball just so that this event might crowd out the negative reviews. Well, they are Hollywood and it worked.

Next the Cardinal is coming to town and it will be very ugly. Say adios to the #4 seating.

Their defense certainly didn't look very sharp in the first half, especially the backers and DBs. But the defensive strategy and offensive play calling was pretty good, I though. The WMU O-line is full of good talent and size. They will match up well with any team. I think you are giving too much blame to USC for not winning hard enough instead of credit to WMU for being a damn good team, especially considering the size of the program and recruiting that goes along with a MAC school. If the WMU defense was better conditioned to play through the 4th qtr I think they would have been the winner. They seemed to dominate the line of scrimmage through the first 3 qtrs on both sides of the ball.

Anybody watch Clemson? That was a **** game. Kent State barely passed at all, I guess the theory was keep the clock running so make the game go as quickly as possible.

I'm sure that was it. Dexter Lawrence picked up on if their guards and throw him like a bale of hay.

Even though it was slaughter there were enough teachable moments for a young Clemson offense. Additionally Kelly Bryant proved he can throw down field.

They sure did and credit to them but USC deserves all the blame for allowing an unranked team -#77 on a CBS poll- to spank around a number 4. USC went looking for a patsy to have a good start to their season but they got hoisted on their own petard.

Everything will become clear next week when Stanford comes to visit. Pete Carroll was the last real coach at USC and it has been a parade of empty suits since then.
The new AD Lynn Swann knows football and he might help end this circus.

Ugly only begins to describe it. Take away the defensive touch downs and the offense scored 3 points. This staff needs to have light years of change between the next 2 weeks - either switch the QBs around, get the offensive line to play better, do something. Nuss is on thin ice right now.

Malik Zaire shouldn't see the field again this season.

I think Clemson has a solid team, just young. It will be interesting to see how they do down the road when they are tested.

They got the W in the end. I think 77 is way too high. If they keep playing this good they could be top 25 by mid season. Maybe by week 3 if Mich State doesn't come to play
