![]() Buying a used STI at 90k miles that needs the timing belt replaced. I've bought the Aisin kit that includes the waterpump and bought an OEM thermostat and gasket and coolant.
I also bought new NGK Irridium spark plugs. Is there anything else I should pre-emptively have done while it is in the shop to lower costs and have them all done at the same time? Headgaskets maybe? OEM or aftermarket? I plan on keeping the car under 350 HP and really only doing reliability/driveability mods.

![]() The other belts you remove (alternator and AC) since they are coming off, anyway. I'd leave the crank and cam seals alone unless you have a leak. At that age, I'd think about replacing the upper/lower radiator hoses, as well. If you bought the plugs off ebay or amazon, make sure they are not counterfeit (it's been a big issue)

![]() Have the TB, water pump, and boost lines (known to corrode and cause boost leaks) checked and/or replaced
