Swapping EJ20J into VW bus. Wiring diagram?

Got a 1999 Forester EJ20J (ej202) european spec. I pulled all the wiring from it. The ECU is located on the engine, which seems odd. I can not find a wiring diagram for this engine. Any ideas where to look?

The goal is to get this motor running in my VW bus.

I have some wiring diagrams I might be able to share if I can dig them up. Some might be photo copies. They are from a JDM MY99-00 Forester Turbo. Could be similar ? What parts of the schematic are you looking for ? I ended up going with Megasquirt as I had lots of troubles and not much help locally to me.

Posting up the serial # on top of the ECU might help some guys on here.

Can we see a pic of where the ECU is mounted ?

Is this Kalle from the STF site ?

I've had good luck finding stuff here. Kinda under he influence so I didn't bother to look for your specific one
