DIY: BRANT immobiliser System Bypass

What are you're thoughts on this? I have purchased it, seems ok but I am kind of hesitant on chopping into my wiring. Cost me $90

If that will fix my short to ground I'd go with it. Because I'm not trying to spend money on a immobilizer and a reprogram at dealership.

Will the alarm still work with this? Or does it disable everything?
