Default motor swap ?

i posted before but no ones helping maybe if i through some detail it can help u help me

i had a 02 rex and some one cut me off on the highway when it was raining and i hit a wall right side sorta kinda bad ehh whatever

i have a 00 2.5rd and i would like to put the rex motor in there but im not sure if every things going to match up

some people are telling me to use the 2.5 trans other telling me to swap the motor and trans from the rex idk

wireingharness ?? no idea what i need, should i use the stock ecu fromt he rex or should i go for axis port or idk

if someone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated

Pull motor ,trans crossmember, driveshaft , axles ,rear diff ,axles (?) ecu & harness .
That would be most cost efficient since you already have all that stuff .
you may have to use the control arms also I think there is a difference in sizes . I'm sure if you look around more there is oodles of info on the materials needed Good luck

this really needs to be moved to the conversions forum...
you will have to wire the wrx and RS harness together...its simple for 96+ cars...

mostly everything bolts up the biggest part is the wiring.you have to merge the 2 harnesses.
doesnt matter what trany you have because neither can hold any power
access port is a tuner not an ecu u would use the rex ecu.
check out the conversion section and read up it will help a lot

What are you basing this on? What kind of HP do you consider "power"? I have an STi block pushing ~310whp on a stock wrx tranny with 116,xxx miles on it.
